Most Softball Associations in NZ already use solutions from Sporty. Now there's a Game Day App for Softball.

This App lets Softball Associations get rid of paper/card for team lists and scoring on game day. It is integrated with SuperForms and the SKED competition management system, meaning that the App already knows about every single game, and which players are in every single team.

So it's easy for coaches and team managers to use the App to simply mark which players actually participate each game day, including walk ups and players from other squads. And keeping score becomes a breeze, recording balls, strikes and runs, making it clear whenever someone can take a walk or is out.

This means the Softball Association gets team lists and results automatically, and can generate amazing reports about who played and how often. You can still use old-school card team sheets alongside the App if you wish.

Auckland Softball Association has taken a leadership role in defining the behaviour of the App and now you can watch games being scored live, pitch by pitch and innings by innings on the Auckland Softball Association website.
